2nd Monthly Financial Summery for 2014

Here is my Financial Summery for - February period.

I have updated my Excel finally so here are the figures for last month I have been quite busy here.

This for period of 28 days each as I work on 28 day cycles, my dates may be out to calendar months so here are the figures that will bring it up to date as its very near the end of next 28 day cycle.

Reviewing my monthly daily living allowance

Budgeted for this period $550 spent $251.35 under by $298.65 on general spending.

This month I spent money on 4 pairs of shorts that came out of clothes were an out of pocket expense of $36.00. Personal allowance covers health drinks, lotto, books, stamps, craft and hobby supplies.

Eating out including meals out with family and friends, we all go Dutch.

My credit cards are still paid in full each month; it was $1221.00 this period.

Grocery allotment $125 for each period it was under by $57.74 this period.

Strategy - Don't spend your forward bill money on trivia, it's been put aside for a purpose and keeps you stress free.

    Good on you! Remarkable to keep spending $300. below the budget for the month. Can you identify any deferrals that might need a 'set aside.?' I hope you're giving yourself a reward for doing so well. What is the plan for that $ 298.65?

    Do you review your summer wardrobe and note what needs to be replaced, what needs to be added?

    I need to spend very little on my winter wardrobe this year, as we have only a few week's of cold weather as I live in the sub-tropics. The colors this season from what I have seen so far are in my wardrobe are Black, grey, mauve, and navy.

    I wear only black slacks and denim jeans with jumpers mainly. Around the house clothes will be what at hand and last year's degrades. I only need most likely one piece new as I can get away with what I have, I don't support the fashion industry at all with the way I spend. As a op shop dresser and only buy a few things brand new if its at the right price. Like the Shorts for next summer.
