My watches required new batteries that came out of clothes were an out of pocket expense of $34.00 and I never spent much of my personal allowance. Personal allowance covers health drinks, lotto, books, stamps, craft and hobby supplies.

Eating out including meals out with family and friends, we all go Dutch.

My credit cards are still paid in full each month; it was $245 this period.

Grocery allotment $125 for each period it was under by $18.17 this period.
I had to watch my spending this period as my outgoing on bills and major projects were over $16000 this period. That they all have been paid for now.

Strategy - Do remember what you have stored before you go and buy more of the same.

Good on you for such a terrific December budget. Curious about how much watch batteries cost in OZ and whether the cost of battery includes remove and replace? We go to an outlet at the local flea market because they use Made in Japan batteries which seem to last much longer than those Made in China.

How do you remember what's stored to avoid buying more? I hope you'll share ideas for this problem.
Do you find No Spend Days reduces spending or just moves to another day? Does it foil 'impulse' purchases? I wish there was more discussion on SA. I jump back and forth and confuse myself!

What are your top spending priorities 2014?

Snafu - My watches are expensive ones that have a special screws. I paid $12.50 each watches for batteries to be replaced. extra to have link added to one of them. I get about two years out of them.

My spending days are multi task days so I don't need to go out and shop if I don't need too!

It's a long time since I was on forum but that where discussions should be on some topics. May be we need to do one on that topic.
