Garden update

Well I am almost finished my garden in readiness for summer.

Just need to weed and munch the front garden before it gets to hot here. It's very dry so I may only just weed it for now!



Here are after pictures of my clean-up of those two garden beds. The dead vines on the tree had the main roots in the clean-up bed so died when cut. It's takes about two years to get back to the way it was. I think I may plant some sweet potato in that bed for now!



I have started on a new project here so more about it later.

    I feel the same way. I just cleaned up for winter, and am getting everything ready to go for next spring's planting. You are showing us how the other half live!

    No Brugmansia in any garden near here.

    The tree with dead jasmine vine on it is a native pompom tree.

    How wonderful to think of you and your neighbors preparing gardens for spring and summer. I'm looking out at another 8 " of snow today. Our roads are icy and driving is difficult. The sanding trucks are roaring down the main streets and I'm hopeful for tomorrow.
