Cutting back on supermarket spending

July 5th, 2013 at 01:12 pm

Looking at my food and supplies stockpiles, I think I can go at least until November without buying too much in the way of food and supermarket items. Just all the perishables will still need to be bought so I will see how much can get my grocery allotment in my budget down in the coming months starting with my next post. My next monthly summery is almost ready to be posted here.

I have been working on reading and editing on http://trove.nla.gov.au/ this past few weeks so havenít posted that much anywhere.

Wishing you progress and success in using up food stockpiles. We've been doing something similar since New Years Day 2013 when we abruptly realized the deep freeze was over stocked. What goal will food savings fulfill?

I wish to get my Stockpile down by 50% as I will never fit it in the new kitchen.
