Those are all excellent. I do have to remind myself that things don't really take that long. Which means I should go fold some clothes!!

Good nudge to get things. 13 of them would take me longer than 3 min. Frown

Do you mean 3 minutes for each item on the list. If not I'm going to have to really get going. Lists are a life saver for me. I usually set the timer for 5 minutes and see what I can get done. Your tips are very encouraging.

I usually hook my iPod up to the speakers in the lounge and clean/tidy for ten songs. It's amazing what you can really get done in around 30 or 40 minutes.

Yes, some of them may take a litte longer than 3 minutes if you have a lot of things to do or put away.

At times I will not do a job for months because it may take a while but in fact it can take just a few minutes to get over and done with.

I have personally experienced that if I have some kind of list and a timer; I'm more prone to get more done without really putting alot of thought into it. I have read Fly Lady and I like her 5 minute timer rule. She says that anyone can do something for 5 minutes. I've noticed that it is just the encouragement I need to get things done. I liked your post so much that I copies it and of course we all can add or subtract our own to it. I was putting off chores because I was busy with something else. Thanks again for your post.

...or I could just read this list to pass three minutes...
