This week I filled up my car with petrol/gas.

I paid 124.9 a litre (less 4c discount off per litre 121.9) costing around $23.30 this week as I filled the lawn mower can also. Anyway this morning the petrol /gas was 139.9 a litre, that’s 18c a litre above what I paid two days ago. I thinking if and when it gets too around $3.00 all the time, I will stop using it all together. Hopefully I will be pasted driving by then. But then I said this when it was around 30c a litre, my limit then was around $1.00 - 20 years ago so only time will tell.

    It hit $1.50 here in Victoria today, it was all over the news tonight. I'm so glad that we converted to LPG last month.

    I'm in Canada so can't compare dollar for dollar, but it is really high here too. I'm trying my very best to have no drive days... when my car is parked, it doesn't burn any gas!!

    Yikes. I just figured that is equivalent to $4.169 per gallon to USAers. Last weekend I paid 73% as much as you did at $3.08/gallon. In my area petrol/gas prices are almost always a little lower than our national average. But I do remember that the prices went up by $0.20 per gallon in the couple days before I filled up--phooey. I think I hear Californians are paying about the same as you, but not as much as Sheila would have had to pay in Victoria.

    its outrageous,it was $1.45,here in Adelaide today so i drove around without the air con on,as that chews the petrol up,very uncomfortable though,with the weather so warm.
