In a few weeks time I will be coming the end of my Mirror Image Challenge. I am working on summery of my Senior discounts against my other $-t-r-e-t-c-h Savings ways of saving money. So to see how much being a senior on a pension with discounts that are available here.
So at the end of this month I will be able to post this summery answering that question that I asked in my first post in April 2006
BREAKFAST Muesli & Milk Coffee
LUNCH Chilli Tuna Salad & Crackers Apple Coffee
DINNER Curry Ground Beef & Rice with Sambal
It’s coming to end of My Mirror Image Challenge.

I didn't keep up with the $20.00 challenge, because I wasn't sure of how to do it. Seems that some count every bit saved due to discounts or coupon savings, and others count only actual $$ in the bank.
I save a LOT due to purchasing loss leaders, using coupons, buying "used", but don't have the actual dollars in hand to put in the bank. In most cases, I would not purchase the items if they were at actual retail price.
The whole challenge is rather ambiguous.

It's a bit of both as I wouldn’t have been able to do my door project if I didn't put or kept money in the bank.
I haven't taken any money from my investments to live on for over 15 months, which is outside this challenge which I used to buy a car with then.
Our prices here are higher than what they are in America.
Only my books RRP would be little on inflated side but that’s RRP price on the book at the time of printing. Many I wouldn't have bought if they were at RRP. I still do buy one or two at RRP if want it bad enough and it will never be available for years-2nd second hand.
Thanks for the feedback.
