Free Pedicure

December 31st, 2007 at 08:14 am

My DS call in today, as it was his day off work. He works a 4 days on and 3 days off each week but doing 12 hour shifts walking around a shopping centre all day & night as security guard. This is not good for his feet so every month or so he will call by to have me do his feet. Have been doing free pedicures for my family and friends for years. I only wish is that someone would do mine at some time.

Weekly Main Meal Menu

Monday ~ Spaghetti Bolognese
Tuesday ~ Omelet with Shredded Cheese and Salad
Wednesday ~ Lunch out
Thursday ~ Steak, Onions and Egg with Mushroom Sauce
Friday ~ Pasta with Tuna & Tomato Sauce & Stone Fruit

Happy New Year everyone

Kitty, if you charged folks, other than your DS, that is, maybe you could use that money for procuring your own pedicures?? Are pedicurists monitored by your country's Health system? I think in the U.S. people have to go to beauty school and get licensed to do this for a fee.

I have a DIL who does manicures and the fake-o nails and she makes good money at it.

If it didn't cost much to get licensed or started, then that could be a great little side-stream of income for you. Even if you don't get licensed, you could BARTER your pedicures for things you need, couldn't you?

One of my sons is a security guard as well. He mostly drives the little squad car around, but when it's broken down he has quite a large area to walk himself. You sound like an excellent Mum!

I'm a bit old side to get a license now! I will be getting my own done this year (2008) at medical footcare cinic via part of my health benifit fund, I will just have to pay the different. Frown

Just summer fruits like apricots, plums, peaches and nectarines.

I was given around 2½ Kg (5 pounds) of them, mixed just before Christmas by DF-M family, and cherries a few weeks before that.
