It fell off the back of truck

When I went to go shopping the other day! I saw a carton on the road at the intersection of our local street. Seeing that I would need to drive over it so I went to look, it was a broken carton of

Pensfolds Rawson’s Retreat Cabernet Sauvignon, someone had removed some bottles but left the broken ones where were two broken ones and one still unbroken just the wet. There was broken glass everywhere some very large pieces. I took the full bottle of wine back to my house and went and got broom and dustpan and good size container to pick it all up, so I didn’t want more problems with my tyres. Some cars came by and the drivers were happy someone was looking after the glass. After sweeping and pickup the glass I took down two watering cans full of water and wash the wine off the road. That job done, now I can use some red wine in my cooking.

This make you wonder how some people put things in the trucks or cars. Last week someone lost a ladder in peak hour on a bridge. Many a time we fine nails & screws on the roads so you get flat tyres.

I narrowly missed a large metal object in the road recently. (I don't think it was a ladder, but best I could describe it - something very large & metal). It sounded like it I hit it anyway, but I couldn't find a scratch. I was relieved I had time to swerve around it. Maybe it hit underneath the car or I ran it over a bit.

I'll tell you, people are not careful with securing things in their cars/trucks around here. That is for sure. I see road hazards almost daily - and often see things falling out of the back of trucks.

I just saw someone toss a tire into the middle of the road this week. Rolleyes Picked it up from the side of the road and threw it towards oncoming traffic. Was just some crazy person, but, ugh.

How very nice of you to clean that up!

When you started telling your story, I thought it was going to similar to an experience I had many years ago, but yours went in a somewhat different direction.

When I was a teenager and living with my best friend's family, my friend's dad was driving home from work one day when he came upon a truck that had some sort of accident. Stuff from inside the trailer was strewn all along the roadside, and there were people grabbing the stuff. My friend's dad grabbed one box, too, without even knowing what was inside it!

Well, it turned out to be a carton of Herbal Essence Shampoo, and so for some time after that, all of us kids (there were 6 of us) used Herbal Essence shampoo in our hair. It was such a fun story, I've never forgotten it.

We do have a few semi trailers go over around here but you are not allow to remove any stuff. One time they did it was full of beer. Police charged people for stealing just because they took wheel barrels to pick up. We haven’t had any go over for a few years now! That in my suburb only, other places yes they are still overturning.

One house has put steel barrier fence up so they won’t hit their house again it has been taken out three time so they can’t get insurance. If a car hit that fence they will be all dead.
